Effective Date: June 15, 2026
Last Updated: July 1, 2026
1. INTRODUCTION
Boots on the Ground Services LLC (referred to as "BOTG," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information when you use the BOTG mobile application and platform. By creating an account and using the platform you consent to the practices described in this policy.
This policy applies to all users of the platform including all client types (Investors, Wholesalers, Property Managers, Landlords, and Homeowners) and Field Agents throughout the United States.

- Notification preferences you configure in the app
- App usage data including pages viewed, features used, and time spent

Information from Third Parties:
- Identity verification status and related metadata from Stripe Identity (Stripe, Inc.), including whether verification succeeded, failed, or requires additional input
- Payment processing and payout data from our payment partner Stripe
- Analytics data from third party analytics providers
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Match clients with nearby field agents
- Process payments between clients and field agents through Stripe
- Enable real time job tracking and navigation for field agents
- Send job notifications, status updates, and platform communications
- Verify user identities and prevent fraud
- Enforce our Terms of Service and Independent Contractor Agreement
- Improve platform performance and user experience
- Comply with legal obligations
- Resolve disputes between users
- Issue 1099-NEC tax forms to Field Agents where required by law

We will never sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
4. LOCATION DATA
The BOTG platform uses location data to match users with jobs and support property-related workflows. Location data is used to:
- Show field agents nearby available jobs on a map and in lists
- Navigate field agents to property locations
- Verify that field agents are at the correct property location during job completion
- Provide clients with general confirmation of field agent proximity
For Field Agents: If you grant location permission, we may collect precise GPS location while the app is in use. This includes: (a) optional "Use my current location" in Browse Jobs, which filters and maps open jobs near you while that feature is enabled—the app may update your position as you move; and (b) navigation and property-related workflows during assigned or in-progress jobs. We do not continuously track your location in the background when you are not using these features. Accepting an open job is based on your profile service area and travel radius stored in your account, not live GPS alone.
For Clients: General location data is used to match you with relevant field agents in your property's area.
You may disable location permissions through your device settings or turn off in-app location features (such as live browse). Doing so may limit job discovery and navigation features.
5. PUBLIC PROFILES AND ACCOUNT CONTROLS (FIELD AGENTS)
Field agent public profile fields visible to clients (such as bio, expertise, and company name) must not include direct phone numbers or email addresses. We may automatically limit account access until such information is removed. If you believe a restriction is incorrect, you may submit a written explanation through the app for administrative review.
When a field agent completes Stripe Identity verification, clients may see an "Identity verified" badge and verification date on that field agent's public profile. BOTG does not show clients copies of the field agent's ID document or selfie.
Field agents may turn off "Available for new jobs" in Profile to pause appearing in client search, nearby job alerts, and acceptance of new open jobs while continuing to manage existing assignments.
6. PHOTOS AND MEDIA
Photos, videos, and documentation uploaded by field agents through the platform are stored securely and made available to the client who posted the corresponding job. This media is the property of the client once the job is completed and approved. BOTG retains copies of all submitted media for platform record keeping, dispute resolution, and quality assurance purposes.
Field agents may not use, share, publish, or distribute any photos or media captured during BOTG jobs for any purpose outside of the platform without explicit written consent from the client.
7. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:
With Other Users: When a client posts a job, limited profile information is shared with field agents who accept the job. When a field agent accepts a job, limited profile information is shared with the client. Full personal contact details such as personal email addresses and personal phone numbers are never directly shared between users. All communication is facilitated through the BOTG platform only.
With Service Providers: We share information with trusted third party service providers who assist us in operating the platform including Stripe for payment processing and Stripe Identity for field-agent identity verification, cloud storage providers, and analytics partners. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and may not use it for their own purposes.
For Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of BOTG or its users.
In a Business Transfer: If Boots on the Ground Services LLC is acquired, merged, or its assets are transferred, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. You will be notified of any such change through the platform.
8. NO DIRECT CONTACT BETWEEN USERS
To protect the privacy and safety of all users BOTG does not share personal contact information between clients and field agents. This includes but is not limited to:
- Personal email addresses
- Personal phone numbers
- Home or business addresses
- Social media profiles or handles
- Any other direct contact information
All communication, job coordination, documentation, and payments must be conducted exclusively through the BOTG platform. Any attempt by a field agent or client to solicit direct contact outside the platform is a violation of our Terms of Service and Independent Contractor Agreement and may result in immediate account termination and legal action.
9. PAYMENT DATA & STRIPE
All payment processing on the BOTG platform is handled by our payment partner Stripe. BOTG does not store your full credit card numbers, debit card numbers, or bank account information on our servers. All payment data is processed and stored securely by Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy and PCI DSS compliance standards. By using the platform you also agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy.
Field agent identity verification is handled by Stripe Identity. When field agents complete verification, Stripe collects and processes government-issued ID images and biometric selfie data according to Stripe's policies. BOTG receives verification results (such as verified, pending, or failed status) and stores verification status and timestamps on our systems; we do not display ID images to clients.
Payout settlement: When a client approves a job, BOTG transfers field-agent earnings to the agent's Stripe Connect account after the client's payment has settled on the platform Stripe account. Settlement timing is determined by Stripe and the client's payment method (typically two to seven business days for card payments, potentially longer for new accounts or ACH), not by BOTG alone.
10. DATA RETENTION
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide platform services. If you delete your account we will retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes including dispute resolution and fraud prevention. Job records, documentation, transaction history, tax records, and identity verification status records may be retained for up to seven years for legal and compliance purposes.
11. DATA SECURITY
We implement industry standard security measures to protect your personal information including encryption of data in transit and at rest, secure cloud storage, access controls limiting who within BOTG can access user data, and regular security assessments. However no method of transmission or storage is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
If you believe your account has been compromised please contact us immediately at info@bootsontheground.services.
12. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The BOTG platform is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18 we will immediately terminate their account and delete their information.
13. YOUR RIGHTS & CHOICES
Depending on your location you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information subject to legal retention requirements
- Opt out of non-essential communications
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
California Residents: If you are a California resident you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your California privacy rights please contact us at info@bootsontheground.services.
To exercise any of your rights please contact us at info@bootsontheground.services. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.
14. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
BOTG sends push notifications for job alerts, status updates, payment confirmations, dispute updates, and platform announcements. You may manage notification preferences through your device settings or within the app. Disabling notifications may cause you to miss time-sensitive job alerts.
15. THIRD PARTY LINKS & SERVICES
The platform integrates with third party services including Stripe for payment processing, Stripe Identity for field-agent identity verification, and mapping services for navigation. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third party services you use in connection with BOTG.
16. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will notify you through the app and update the effective date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the platform following notification of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
